Drinking a glass of water of high quality can be very refreshing, but do you have access to good water where you live? That might not always be something that you have a lot of control over. If you are connected to the municipal water system, then there will be chemicals in there that they used to treat it, as well as sediment that comes loose from the pipes. Of course you could invest in your own filtration system, but that might be a bit too expensive for most people. When connected to a municipal system, you have the advantage of receiving reports on the water quality where you live, but again, there isn’t much that you can do about it.
When you get your water from a well on the other hand, you have full control, but you also need to pay for anything that needs to be addressed on your own. This means that if you need better filtration, or if your water is too hard, it’s on you. You should make sure to test your water regularly so that you know exactly what it is you are drinking.
