Having your sewage back up on you is something that can make a mess of anyone’s life. There are serious health risks involved, and it can do serious damage to your home. Unfortunately it is difficult to predict something like that happening, and you could be caught completely unawares when your toilets start backing up.
If you have a tree in your yard that seems to have taken a growth spurt lately, this could be due to a lurking problem in your pipes. If the roots from a tree have found a crack in your sewage pipes, they might have started growing inside the pipe and creating a blockage. This is a difficult issue to fix. Cutting back the roots will just let them grow back again. What you need to do is dig the pipe up and replace it, making sure there isn’t a leak anymore. While it is a lot of work, it is better than having sewage in your home.
